Dr Lewis C. Perrin is an Associate Professor of Gynaecological Oncology at The University of Queensland. He is a subspecialty examiner for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and currently serves on the executive committee of the Australian Society of Gynaecologic Oncology.
Dr Lewis C. Perrin specialises in the treatment of women with endometrial, ovarian, cervical, vulval or vaginal malignancies. He has a special interest in minimal access surgery for the treatment of cancerous and non-cancerous diseases of the female reproductive organs. The Mater Hospital has a dedicated team of surgeons enabling radical procedures for optimal removal of gynaecological cancers and improving the overall survival of these patients.
Dr Perrin is involved with clinical research, and has been a major contributor to many trials to determine the best treatment for patients with gynaecological cancers. He is a chief investigator in several studies ranging from laparoscopic surgery to new techniques in the delivery of chemotherapy.
