Terms and conditions

To mark Mother’s Day 2018, we are celebrating the mums in our community, asking Australians to #HonourYourMum by hosting an Afternoon Teal in May.

Let’s celebrate the amazing women who support us while they are going through their own ovarian cancer journey, who walk alongside you while you go through yours, and those who have left us with a proud legacy. Gather your friends, family and colleagues to honour our mums at a very special Afternoon Teal event.

By registering to host an Afternoon Teal to #HonourYourMum, you are helping to save lives and ensure that no woman with ovarian cancer walks alone. You can make a difference in just four steps:

  1. Register to host an Afternoon Teal
Whether it’s an afternoon tea, picnic, golf day, movie night or gala dinner, anybody and everybody can throw an Afternoon Teal! The important thing is to make it an event you adn your guests will love.
  2. Get fundraising
When you register, you’ll receive a link to your own fundraising page on Everyday Hero. You could ask for direct donations, put on a raffle or run a silent auction – there’s no wrong way to fundraise! And every dollar raised through an Afternoon Teal helps to save lives and support women.
  3. Host your event
This is the fun part – get your family and friends together to have fun and honour the mums in your life
  4. Share photos of your Afternoon Teal with us
Our community loves to see how people celebrate and honour the women we love who have been affected by ovarian cancer – share your photos with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or via email to show us how you #HonourYourMum
