Ovarian Cancer Australia is very grateful to all of our Partners whose support enables us to work towards our vision.
Our partners share our commitment to delivering awareness campaigns, providing essential services to the community, funding high impact research and ensuring that no woman walks alone.
Hanes Brands (Bonds, Bras ‘N’ Things, and Jockey) are the principal partner of the Overies for Ovaries campaign which commenced in 2019 and creates awareness around World Ovarian Cancer Day.
By creating an activation that is accessible nationwide, the Overies for Ovaries campaign enables the whole of Australia to show support for women living with ovarian cancer by buying a pair of Overies. In its inaugural year, the campaign raised over $150k for Ovarian Cancer Australia with all proceeds of ‘overies’ donated. Through Hanes support, OCA can continue to provide essential services to the community, advocate on behalf of our women, deliver awareness campaigns and fund high impact research projects.
QMS are focused on bringing awareness to key social issues and initiatives at both a national and local level by providing community and charity organisations with a dynamic media platform to effectively communicate their respective causes.
In 2019 QMS generously partnered with OCA to raise awareness and funds to help support women impacted by this insidious disease through pro bono OOH and digital media to the value of $840k which achieved a reach of 10.9 million during the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Overies for Ovaries campaigns. With the support of QMS Ovarian Cancer Australia is able to reach a wider audience than ever before and share the devastating reality which women with ovarian cancer are facing.
Black Pepper have been a member of our community since 2014. During the course of the year Black Pepper support Ovarian Cancer Australia by selling ribbons, donating a portion of sales from certain BP merchandise items, and holding in store activations during our Awareness Month in February.
The partnership between TerryWhite Chemmart and Ovarian Cancer Australia began with Chemmart in 2006. During Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in February, participating TWCM pharmacies hold events and sell selected merchandise to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Australia. TWCM pharmacists also play a vital role by knowing the signs and symptoms and offering symptom diaries to any customers who may require one.
True Foods is 100% Australian owned and family operated business that was established in 2001. In 2019 they pledged their support to Ovarian Cancer Australia by featuring the OCA logo on their beloved Simson’s Pantry branded wraps and donating 10% of sales from January to March each year. Simson’s Pantry product is sold in all Coles Supermarkets nationwide and the relationship brings a widespread awareness opportunity via FMCG channels.
Family is at the heart of Wynstan. Having lost Margaret, the matriarch of the Wynstan family, to Ovarian Cancer at Christmas in 1994, the Wynstan family know the devastating impact this disease can have. You can lose a mother, a wife, a partner a grandmother or a friend.
Wynstan works with Ovarian Cancer Australia to help raise awareness for Australian women living with Ovarian Cancer so that others don’t have to share the same fate as the Wynstan family.
Pro Bono Partners
Ovarian Cancer Australia works with a number of organisations to increase awareness of ovarian cancer in the community and to raise funds for our programs.
We are grateful for the support provided by these organisations. If your organisation is interested in partnering with Ovarian Cancer Australia, we would love to talk.
