Teal Ribbon Day
Teal Ribbon Day is held annually on the 26 February.
It’s a day to support Australians affected by ovarian cancer, honour those we have lost and raise awareness of this deadly disease to change the story for future generations.
Teal Ribbon Giving Day
This year to commemorate Teal Ribbon Day, Ovarian Cancer Australia held a Giving Day – a day for Australians to support people impacted by ovarian cancer by making a donation that is matched by our sponsors.
The aim of the day was to raise $240,000 to help fund three specialist ovarian cancer nurses – to provide specialised support and advice to women living with ovarian cancer.
Thanks to our very generous community, matching partners and volunteers, we were able to raise an incredible $467,295.
